Original Concept by Me.
Begun in zBrush and finished in Autodesk Maya. Created as an exercise to create a lower-poly style video game character. Self-imposed 2 week deadline, 1 week for the hi-res sculpt and 1 week to make a lo-res, unwrap, and texture. Textures are mirrored across and are all on one 2048x2048 map, ready to be skinned and rigged.

Created as one of the main characters of a group senior thesis "First Contact". Started in zBrush and finished in Maya. Used this character as practice for hard surface modeling in zBrush using techniques developed my Mike Jensen. This is also the secondary variant of the model used in "First Contact", this model addressed issues with animation and rigging brought up during production. However, due to the nature of our set up we were unable to implement it.

I created this as a kind of spin on the Mogu and Fel Orcs from Blizzard's World of Warcraft game. An oriental themed Orc was something I haven't really seen before and felt it would be an interesting experiment.
